Privacy

Short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can leave any time.

Who we are

Dinky Diary is a free guide to baby and toddler classes in and around Chelmsford, run by a parent in Chelmsford. Questions about your data: hello@dinkydiary.co.uk.

The weekly email

If you sign up, we store your email address so we can send you one email a week about what's on. We use it for nothing else.

Our emails are sent by Kit, who store your address on our behalf. Kit is based in the US. Kit also tells us whether emails are opened and links are clicked, which helps us make the email more useful.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Click it and you're off the list straight away. You can also email us and we'll delete your address.

Your postcode

If you type a postcode into the site, we only use the first part (like CM2 7) to work out rough walking and driving times. It stays in your own browser. It's never sent to us.

Your filters

The site remembers your last filters, like age and type of class, in your own browser so you don't have to set them again. Clear your browser data and they're gone.

Emails you send us

If you email us to report a change or suggest a class, we use what you send to update the listings. We don't add you to the weekly email unless you sign up.

Fonts

Our headline font loads from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to fetch it, as it does on most websites.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you. Email hello@dinkydiary.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
